Everything you need to plan and consider before your Moji hot tub arrives.
Delivery Options
Upon receiving your order, a Moji team member will contact you to discuss delivery and installation.
Standard Delivery
With our standard delivery method, your Moji tub will arrive in Moji’s Landcruiser with a small crane (5.5m reach) and Moji Tracker to place your tub into position. Through liaising with us before the delivery, we will be able to assist you with planning to get your Moji into position – our driver will help you on the day to achieve this.
For our Moji Mini and Midi units, we aim to keep delivery costs low by consolidating customer deliveries wherever possible. Whether your order is time-sensitive or more flexible, we’ll work with you and your budget to find the most cost-effective delivery option.
For our Moji Maxi unit, standard delivery is included, anywhere in New Zealand.
Complex Delivery (Additional Cost)
While we pride ourselves on reaching most locations with our Moji Tracker, we understand that some properties may present access challenges. For more complex deliveries, we may use tailored solutions — such as a combination of HIAB truck, manpower, or crane — to ensure safe and successful delivery. Please note that these bespoke methods may incur additional delivery costs.
For more complex deliveries, we may utilise bespoke methods, such as a combination of HIAB truck, manpower, or crane. We’ll ask for specific details about your property and assess factors like powerlines, road access, and natural obstacles. If necessary, we’ll arrange a site check and provide a quote (if you’re outside the Hawke’s Bay region, we can arrange a site check via video call). Get in touch with the Moji team to discuss your delivery needs further.
Pick-Up
Pick-up from our Napier warehouse can be arranged.
Inspection on Delivery: It’s crucial for you to be present during hot tub delivery and conduct a thorough inspection before accepting it. This includes removing the outer packaging and ensuring no damage has occurred during transit.
Placement & Installation
To ensure the best hot tub experience, proper placement and orientation are crucial. Here are key considerations for designing your outdoor hot tub space:
Positioning Requirements
View
Consider what you’ll enjoy looking at while relaxing in your hot tub.
Privacy
Choose a spot that offers privacy from neighbours and passersby.
Weather
Opt for a sheltered location, ideally out of the wind and in the sun.
Access
Allow for easy access to services housed within the cabinet.
Foundation Requirements
Concrete Pad: Recommended for stability, with a thickness of at least 10cm.
Decking: If placing the hot tub on a deck, ensure it can support the weight.
Pavers: If using pavers, ensure they are well compacted and level, with metal supports underneath,
Drainage: Plan for proper drainage to prevent water pooling around the base.
Important Considerations
Fencing: Check local regulations regarding fencing requirements for safety.
Electricity: Ensure your home can support a 15 amp hot tub and discuss placement with your electrician.
